Blairgowrie 1

Located on a long rectangular bush block in Blairgowrie the house has been designed to take advantage of its northern aspect. A linear southern circulation spine, of which all the rooms are accessed, ensures direct solar penetration to all key spaces and provides connection to an external corridor linking the living and sleeping zones.

A simple skillion roof provides an eave to the north and highlight glazing to the south. A series of masonry blades act as a division between rooms and give the house a structural rhythm.
