Williamstown

This heritage project involves restoration and additions to a heritage listed bluestone manse in Williamstown. The 1856 manse will be restored to its previous glory and form the foreground to the new monolithic 3-level concrete residence to the rear of the property. A glass link will connect the new building to the old, giving space to the transition between, and open up the interior to views of garden and pool beyond. The new building will be constructed predominately from in-situ off-form concrete walls, with upper storey clad in stone to reference the heritage house in front.
